Rediscovering Crackdown’s Bliss

I recently picked back up Crackdown 2 from where I left off in the campaign. Once I finished off the campaign myself, which was entertaining to say the least, I turned to multiplayer. I had never tried out the online deathmatch in Crackdown 2 until now. To my surprise people were still playing online. The gameplay is simple online, kill or be killed. If you play team deathmatch your teammates can revive you when you’re down. After about 10 minutes I was getting the hang of it and was topping the leaderboards for my team. One multiplayer map in-particular I found to be really fun because it required a lot of use for the wing suit. I found it cool to reach the top of the skyscrapers, jump off  and glide down on enemies for a surprise attack.

Since I completed the campaign, I got online to play co-op with someone else on their campaign. I most recently joined in with a kid who got the game just last week and wasn’t leveled up as much as I was. He was constantly amazed by how much more my character could do more than his. So we made good use with the Crackdown helicopter that I could get to and fly him around to places he wasn’t able to reach otherwise. He also was amazed at how the “freaks” would get bigger as you progressed through the cities sectors. At times it was annoying but it was still fun to run, fly, and drive around with someone else; kicking everyone’s ass that came across us.

So if you have never played a Crackdown game I highly recommend it. Either Crackdown 1 or 2. You should be able to find a cheap copy, either online or in the store. The game is not only fun but it is also an interesting co-op experience. You will definitely spend hours traversing the open-ended city. I will surely keep playing this game for a little while longer. At least until I full complete the game.

If you decide to get the game and would like some help with the campaign send me a friend request on Xbox live and tell me you know of my blog. My gamer tag is Stuntin625. Until next time Game On…

One Response to “Rediscovering Crackdown’s Bliss”

  1. Spot on with this write-up, I actually assume this website needs rather more consideration. I’ll in all probability be once more to learn rather more, thanks for that info.
