Minecraft Discoveries, PC + Xbox

Hello again everyone. I am back again with more Minecraft.

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game, inspired by Infiniminer, Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper, created by Markus Persson, the founder of Mojang AB. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes. Below are some of my own discoveries; screenshots from my Minecraft PC version.

While this game was originally created for computers. Since 2010 when Minecraft was released many people have become addicted to their 3D worlds. To order the game for online play is only $30 (visit minecraft.net for more details). Which is really worth it. If you so happen to get tired of the main survival mode you can try an online server or even set up your own if you have some networking knowledge. This game really has it all when it comes to wanting a game that has 100% replay ability and multiplayer for some change of environment. [Writer’s thoughts: Mincraft for PC is a much better game than Xbox version. Comment me below if you want to know why.]

I could go on and on writing about the vastness of this game. But I am actually posting today to tell you about the new version released for Minecraft. On May 9th 2012 Minecraft was released for download on Xboxlive. For only 1600 microsoft points (~$20) and you can begin playing your favorite game on your xbox. You will be able to play split screen or online with up to four friends. From my experience with Minecraft survival mode, this is really helpful. So far this version of Minecraft if topping to charts. People can’t get enough of this game. Benji went on to say that more people are playing Minecraft online than COD MW3! check out this video, Minecraft breaking records, day one!! Note: the Xbox version has been updated multiple times since it’s release. And they have worked out some of the bugs that players have experienced as well as added new craft-able items. It will only improve over time.

If you were debating on getting this well I hope that you change your mind. Though I have already started a big and awesome world on my PC I think I will purchase the arcade Minecraft soon. Here is the trailer check it out.

Hope you enjoyed this post informing you about Minecraft on Xbox. Check out our new Minecraft Page for some survival tips. until next time game on…
